A group project in collaboration with the BBC UX&D team, during which we created a mobile application to encourage young adults (18-24 year olds) to make more conscious shopping decisions by including real-time guidance and incentives.
Created in collaboration with;
Nataliya Belova, See Wing Chun, Insiyah Haji, and Bo Kang
By talking with our student peers we identified a common need to become a more conscious shopper. Research shows that 41% of Generation Z consumers are impulse buyers, followed by Millennials at 34%, and Generation X at 32%.
To guide our design decisions we developed three user personas with the aim of helping them with their financial planning and saving management for young adults between 18-24 years old.
